What we collect, and why.
We're a three-person studio making a single game. This page describes the small amount of data hawkergame.com collects, and what we do with it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views, clicks, and outbound traffic to Steam. It records your IP address (for approximate location), browser and device details, the pages you visit, and the buttons you click. It does not record names, addresses, emails, or anything you type. You can opt out via browser extensions like Google's own Analytics Opt-Out Add-on.
Newsletter
When the mailing list launches, signing up will store your email with our email provider and nothing else. We'll email you only about HAWKER milestones. You can unsubscribe from any message.
What we do not do
We don't sell data. We don't run ad networks. We don't track you across other websites. We don't profile users for advertising.
